Removes natural protection
Chlorine removes the natural sebum layer that the scalp produces to protect the skin.
Chlorine disrupts the natural balance of the scalp, favoring the appearance of bacteria and infections.
Chemical Irritation
Chlorine is a harsh product that, with prolonged contact, can inflame the skin and cause itching and redness.
Sulfate shampoos make it worse
A shampoo with sulfates has just removed the few natural oils from the scalp, leaving it completely exposed and vulnerable.
A swimmers' shampoo that removes chlorine, sweat, and pool residue without harsh sulfates or damaging the scalp
That's exactly what Scalp Pure Shampoo is designed to do.

ASSETS THAT
NEUTRALIZE CHLORINE
POST-CHLORINE CLEANING
BETAINE + DISODIUM COCOAMPHODIACETATE
Gentle coconut-derived surfactants. Neutralize and remove chlorine residue without destroying the scalp's protective barrier. The cleansing base every swimmer's shampoo should have.
ORGANIC ALOE VERA
Aloe vera is the most effective natural soother for chlorine-irritated scalps. It reduces itching, deeply moisturizes, and accelerates the restoration of the skin barrier damaged by pool water.
GREEN TEA EXTRACT
Chlorine oxidizes the scalp. Green tea extract acts as an antioxidant, neutralizing this oxidative stress and maintaining scalp balance with each wash.
ORGANIC OLIVE OIL
Chlorine weakens the hair shaft. Thanks to its high content of vitamin E, olive oil strengthens hair, reducing breakage and frizz typical of swimmer's hair.

Yes. The amphoteric surfactants (betaine and disodium cocoamphodiacetate) that we use are especially effective at neutralizing and eliminating chlorine residue after swimming. Unlike sulfates, they do this without further damaging the skin barrier.
Yes, and it's designed exactly for that. If you swim every day, you need to wash your hair every day. The sulfate-free formula allows for frequent washing without damaging the scalp. This is the fundamental difference from any other shampoo on the market.
Yes. Sea salt also alters the scalp's balance and dries out the hair shaft. The soothing active ingredients (aloe vera, green tea extract) and gentle surfactants in Scalp Pure Shampoo are just as effective at removing salt as they are chlorine.
Because it's sulfate-free. Foam is produced by SLS and SLES. A shampoo can clean perfectly with little foam. In fact, if you see a lot of foam in a shampoo for daily use, it's a sign that it's probably damaging your scalp.
Most swimmers notice the difference in the first week: less itching, less tightness after showering.
Complete scalp balance — regulated sebum production, restored barrier — is recovered between week 2 and 4 of continued use.
