WHY A SHAMPOO
SULFATE-FREE FOR MEN?
Sulfates (SLS, SLES) are the detergents that make conventional shampoos foam. They work too well: they remove sweat and also the natural oils that protect and balance your scalp. With frequent use, the result is dryness, itching, and accumulated irritation.
An active man showers once or twice a day. A sulfate shampoo is not designed for that frequency. The more you use it, the more damage accumulates. That's why many men have an irritated scalp without understanding why.
Foam is a visual effect, not a measure of efficacy. Our mild surfactants — derived from coconut — cleanse sweat and sebum just as deeply as sulfates, without stripping away what shouldn’t be stripped away.
When you stop assaulting your scalp with daily sulfates, itrecovers its natural pH. The itching disappears. Sebum regulates. Hair becomes stronger. Usually within 2–4 weeks of continuous use.
